As recently as the season before last, there were lots of fans, that had written off Anthony Gordon and felt he wasn’t good enough to play for a team near the top of the Premier League, even some from Newcastle.
When Newcastle qualified for the Champions League, Gordon played a lesser role from the bench for the most part, and contributed just 4 goals from 32 appearances all season.
Now compare that with last season and there is a stark contrast, with the 23-year-old being pivotal to the Toon Army, scoring 11 and assisting 10 even despite Newcastle not hitting the heights of 2022/23.
This has then led to interest from other teams again, with Liverpool in particular being an attractive move for Gordon himself, and an excellent addition for the Reds in a position where they are seemingly weak.
Check out some of the Gordon next club odds with our online bookmakers below and who are the favourites, as well as the likelihood of the Englishman staying at Newcastle this summer.
The 23-year-old is still very young and has a long career ahead of him. But if he believes Newcastle are going to struggle to make it back into the top four and Liverpool have a much stronger chance, as well as it being a guarantee that he will be playing in it this season, it might be a move he can’t turn down.
It was well documented how Gordon pushed through a move to Newcastle when he felt his time had run its course at Everton, but how likely do the online bookmakers think it is that he will do it again to secure a move to Liverpool?

The biggest talking point to come out of Anthony Gordon’s next club odds is that he’s favourite to move to the arch rivals of former club Everton, where he was originally adored during his breakthrough.
However, it has since been revealed that he was a Liverpool fan growing up, which would probably explain why the 23-year-old would be happy to make the move if it were to materialise this window, or in the future.
Liverpool fans would most probably have little problem welcoming Gordon to Anfield, both because they are gaining an excellent young player, but also because means they get one over on Everton too.
With Everton fans already angry with how Gordon left for Newcastle, a move to Liverpool would increase the frostiness to the next level if he ditched the Toon for a move back to the opposite side of Merseyside.

Under Thomas Tuchel’s reign, Chelsea aggressively pursued Gordon two summers ago and were extremely keen to bring in the 21-year-old at the time.
They failed in their attempt to sign him as you will know, with Newcastle signing the man from Merseyside that summer instead.
Originally, it looked like a good decision from Chelsea with them already failing to get the best out of many attackers they decided to bring in and Gordon not exactly setting the world alight at Newcastle.
However, after last season, could Chelsea decide to make a move for Gordon late in the window, attracting him with a long and financially incentivised contract package?
He’s as large as 28/1 to move to Chelsea with bet365, but he is as short as 4/1 with BetVictor who may know something that we don’t when it comes to Gordon’s next club.
